School Board

Parents serve as board members in an advisory function to the pastor and principal and serve as the arms and legs to implement the school’s Strategic Plan.  If you have a talent to share and a desire to get involved, your help is welcome and appreciated.

Working on a School Board Committee can provide valuable experience if you have a desire to become a School Board member in the future.

  • Development: Identify and support short-and long-term funding options for school initiatives for improvement.  Chairs:  Carrie Thompson, Yolanda Olszewski
  • Boards Liaison: Connect with and maintain lines of communication with boards throughout the school and parish.  Chairs: Marcia Phelps, Jerry Schilf
  • Catholic Identity: Solidify and support our Catholic heritage and mission in school and family life.  Chair:  Jenny Inserro
  • Facilities:  Identify areas of need in the school physical plant and work with parish, school to improve.  Chair:  Jeff Schmitz
  • Finance:  Maintain school budget and finances, publish annual report.  Chair:  Lauren Bouchard
  • Governance:  Maintain and update policies, manuals and ensure compliance.  Chair:  Yolanda Olszewski
  • Legislative Action:  Share information from state lobbyists on issues affecting Catholic schools.  Chair:  Tony Riccamato
  • Marketing & Enrollment: Promote school to existing parents, potential families and community.  Chairs:  Jeff Schmitz, Tom Carlson, Marcia Phelps
  • Technology:  Help identify technology needs and work with technology team to source and implement new tools.  Chair:  Lisa Whitney

The School Board meets on the first Tuesday of every month, at 7 p.m. in the Holy Family Room of the Parish Center. All regular meetings are open to registered adult members of the parish. A copy of the approved minutes will be posted on the office bulletin board and an agenda will be sent home in the weekly envelope.
